Kids - Prague 9 - Beginners

Prosek lives and breathes Irish dance! On Wednesdays from 15:30, kids aged 8–12 meet at DDM Mesicka to try softshoes steps, ceilí formations, and the basics of hardshoes. The class is suitable for boys and girls regardless of prior experience or movement ability. Led by a TJ Academy of Irish Dance instructor, the club connects to our community program — kids can perform at events and competitions and discover Irish traditions in a fun way.

🟢 What to expect

• Softshoes technique — jig, reel, slip jig
• Safe introduction to hardshoes (step)
• Group choreography and teamwork
• Games, creative activities, and cultural insights (holidays, music, legends)
• Fees and registration are handled by DDM Prague 9 (see link above)

We show children that Irish dance belongs to a broader culture. We celebrate Irish holidays and get to know Irish traditions together.
